Prisons and Old Slaughterhouse
In the building on your left, Barbara’s first town hall and home to the armory, prisons were built on the ground floor, with an isolation cell, the “secret,” in a narrow space underneath, built close to the walls. The wooden door, equipped with a spyhole and reinforced with wrought iron locks and reinforcements, still survives.
