Fossa Granaria
It is one of the many truncated cone-shaped basins built in the medieval castle to store food supplies, generally aligned immediately outside the castle gate and within the village walls, but isolated from the others. Inside, carved out of the sandstone—transformed in the second half of the 16th century into a well and later into a rainwater basin with two opposing holes near the bottom intended to support a wooden support to protect grain or other contents from humidity—artistic fragments of 15th and 16th-century ceramics were found.
